The Micro-LED are individually connected with one of the most reliable technique possible in electronics. They are then encapsulated in a rugged black layer that protect the entire screen. Its surface becomes smooth, solid, unbreakable.
Despite their size, each Micro-LED is still a very powerful light source, even when protected by a black surface that covers the entire screen, so they appear as stars on a pitch black sky, offering the highest level of contrast possible.
Deepsky uses discrete Red, Green and Blue monochrome micro-LEDs, that can be arranged in many ways to offer the best pixel structure for any given application.

The principle are very simple: the human eye is much more sensitive to brightness information than colour information, which means that chrominance information can be reduced without perceived loss in video rendering. For example, HD videos for Blu-ray players are encoded in 4:2:0, meaning that the resolution for colour information is only one quarter of the resolution for brightness, with almost no perceivable loss.
In other words, the human eye recognises an LED more as a light source than a colour source.
One of the benefits of the RGB Delta-Enhanced layout is that it delivers optimal brightness resolution for any given density of LED chips. Just imagine it in a black and white colour space!
The RGB Delta layout is also optimal for retinal perception of vibrant, colourful content, taking advantage of the human eye’s capacity to perfectly mix colours.
